Frequently asked questions.
How much are sessions?
Session cost for a 50-minute session is $135. Given that accessible services are important, we do offer a limited number of sliding scale spots starting at $115 per 50-minute session.
Are your sessions covered by insurance?
Most of my clients are able to have services covered by insurance, and others are self-pay clients. Due to variations among insurance providers, kindly verify with your insurer beforehand to ascertain the mental health services covered by your plan.
What does perinatal mean?
Perinatal is a word that captures both the pregnancy and postpartum phases. Support offered for reproductive and perinatal mental health includes infertility, trying to conceive, pregnancy and infant loss, preparing for pregnancy, pregnancy after loss, preparing for postpartum, birth trauma, NICU families, feeding and parenting support, and perinatal mood disorders.
Do you only work with reproductive/perinatal clients?
No! While we do have a special interest in this topic, we work with individuals and couples struggling with a variety of mental health concerns, including, but not limited to, trauma, front-line workers, PTSD, depression, anxiety, relational issues, and grief.
How frequently should I schedule sessions?
This is entirely up to you! Some clients choose to start with a weekly or biweekly option. Throughout the therapeutic process, we will openly discuss session frequency and therapeutic progress to ensure you are comfortable with the services you are receiving.
How can I pay for sessions?
You can pay via e-transfer to breanne@cedarmountaincounselling.com or pay via credit card through The Jane App.
